like social media, without the overwhelm.

If you were following me back in 2022, you would know I went silent on the socials, for about 8 months. Since I attempted the social media detox challenge I’ve realised the benefits of giving it up are far too big to ignore.

Whilst a lot has changed since then (including moving up and down the country a few too many times) I’ve learnt that you need to use Instagram to your advantage, not your detriment. It’s a great way to connect with new friends, but not a place for honest, raw reality.

That’s where Digital Analogue comes in – Providing honest updates, in a condensed, creative form sent straight to your inbox.

Why?

We’re stuck in this endless cycle of comparison, stopping us from achieving our goals whilst also wasting hours endlessly scrolling.. did I mention our attention span is getting shorter too?

Values

My break from social media made me realise I needed to start something new, something outside the norm. So now I’m going off on a tangent to create a simplified social media, whilst working on my passion for travel writing and my next goals in life.

Mission

Providing an email every few weeks, featuring the realities of life as a travelling fashion photographer who chose to escape the mundane. All condensed into a 5 minute read, making a perfect match for your morning coffee time.

Don’t worry I won’t spam you, but if you haven’t received an email within two weeks dont forget to check your spam, just incase your inbox decides to be mean to me.

Get to know me

I took my first flight at 13, solo. Infact the first time I flew with my parents was on my way back from New Zealand at 22.
Clearly I didn’t intend to wait around.

My addiction to travel has led me to always find ways to explore, through all of life’s ups and downs, no matter how shallow the pockets are (ever used a tea bag twice?)

In 2016, whilst experiencing the dry heat and epic lattes of Adelaide, I discovered travel blogging. I realised it was the perfect mix of travel & creativity to keep me focussed and challenge myself.

I’ve discovered people enjoy following along with my journey too, by sharing my updates through my mailing list i’ve been keeping readers entertained for almost two years now.
